Mandatory Vaccinations - 1329 Words

Upon first glance, immunizations look like a terrific solution to a horrific problem. But what if these immunizations were causing horrific problems of their own? What if the ingredients of the injections were just as bad as the disease they were meant to prevent? A staggering 77% of American kindergarteners are up to date with their vaccinations. (Park, 2008) This percentage makes Americans the most vaccinated group of people in the world. The number of shots required for school age children has doubled since 1980; today’s children will receive up to 28 injections for 11 to 15 diseases by the time they go to kindergarten. Many of these mandatory vaccinations are not safe because of the toxic chemicals, the multiple doses that they†¦show more content†¦In 1996 that statistic climbed to 1 in 300 children. (Geier Geier, 2003) When this increased statistic is paired with the fact that vaccinations have doubled in the same amount of time it is not surprising that Autism is being linked to the injections. Also being linked to Autism and most vaccinations is Thimerosal. Thimerosal is the preservative in vaccinations used to keep them free of fungi and bacteria, also known as mercury. In 2001 the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released results from a study that found levels of mercury in immunizations were 2 times what the Environmental Protection Agency deemed safe. (Park, 2008) Another study found the likeliness of neurodevelopment disorder increased 4 fold, on average, following an additional 75-100 microgram dosage in thimerosal-containing vaccinations in comparison to thimerosal-free vaccinations. (Geier Geier, 2003) Following studies such as these the FDA took into consideration all of the concern and â€Å"theoretical potential for neurotoxicity† and decided to reduce the amount of thimerosal in vaccinations. Donatellos St. Mark reflects a change in artistic tastes, as the highly stylized and unnaturally perfect Gothic movement became less desirable. It was making way for the individualism and realism of the Renaissance. Another example of High Renaissance sculpture is The Pieta, ca. 498-1499, by Michelangelo, a marble sculpture in St. Peters Basilica in Rome. Cardinal Jean de Billhere Michelangelo’s patron, commissioned the statue for his funeral monument. This famous sculpture is pyramidal in shape, with the head of Mary being the point, descending down to her feet at the base, and depicts the body of Jesus in the arms of his mother Mary after the Crucifixion. Michelangelos Pieta is an important example of High Renaissance sculpture, as it also b alances the ideals of classical beauty with naturalism. As with Donatello’s Saint Mark, the fabric of the subject’s robes draped naturally, and the bodies are sculpted in contrapposto, with the weight of Jesus’ body resting primarily on Mary’s right leg, her left shoulder sloping gently downward. The realism of the facial expression, muscle structure and veins are breathtaking and unparalleled. The privilege of viewing the Pieta in person, in all its luminous glory, was truly the opportunity of a lifetime.

By orders formally given by him before his death, SS officers immersed Hitler's body in gasoline and burned it in the garden of the Chancellery. Soon after the suicide of Hitler, the German forces surrendered. The war was officially over; however, the world was only beginning to realize the extent of its horror. The rise and sudden fall of Hitler had a sensational effect on people and nations around the world. On Easter Sunday April 20, 1889, at an inn called the Gasth of Zum Pommer, the wife of an Austrian Customs official gave birth to a son, Adolf Hitler. He was the fourth child to the parents of Alois and Klara Hitler of Austria. Hitler was a good student. He took singing lessons and sang in the church choir. When he hit an adolescent age, he began to rebel. When Hitler's dad acquired a top ranking job in the military, he wanted his son to work hard so that he might become a civil servant. Hitler wanted nothing of it. He wanted to become an artist like he always dreamed. One of the teachers in his high school classified young Hitler as "notorious, cantankerous, willful, arrogant, and irascible. He has an obvious difficulty in fitting in at school." He did well enough to get by in some of his courses but had no time for subjects that did not interest him. Years later, his former school mates would remember how Adolf would taunt his teachers and draw sketches of them in his school notebooks. Forty years later, in the sessions at his headquarters which produced the record of his table talk, Hitler recalled several times the teachers of his school days with contempt. "They had no sympathy with youth. Their one object was to stuff our brains and turn us into erudite apes themselves. If any pupil showed the slightest trace of originality, they persecuted him relentlessly". Adolf saw no real reason to stay in high school. He left school at age sixteen without a leaving certificate. In September 1907, Hitler left home taking with him all the money left to him by his father, who had died a few years earlier. The money would be enough for tuition and board at the art school in Vienna. The Vienna School of Fine Arts had strict entrance requirements. After taking the preliminary examination, the applicant was asked to submit drawings. Biblical drawings were most preferred. Hitler's drawings were returned saying they were "too wooden and too lifeless." He was rejected. He tried three months later and did not get past the preliminary exam. His artist career was over. His mother died two months later on December 21st 1907. Hitler moved into an apartment with his friend in Vienna. He pretended to be a student living off his relatives money. He read many books and sat in on the Austrian government sessions . Hitler speaks of his life in Vienna as "five years in which I had to earn my daily bread, first as a casual laborer, then as a painter of little trifles." It is the verb form used most often to tell of events that have already happened and that are seen as completed. The other simple past tense, the imperfect, is used for past actions that are not completed, meaning the past action did not have a definite beginning or a definite end. How to Conjugate the Preterite Tense In Spanish, verbs are the words that change the most often and depend on different tenses, moods, gender, and agreement in person according to what needs to be conveyed in the sentence. A verb ending can indicate when the action occurs, and also give the listener a better idea of who or what is performing the action. As is the case with standard Spanish conjugation rules, the preterite verb forms are made by removing the infinitive ending of the verb, such as -ar, -er or -ir, and replacing it with an ending that indicates who is performing the action of the verb.
